My name is Kimberly Kane. My husband and I, along with our four children, are a Christian homeschooling family. We reside in humid Southwest Louisiana. Our four children range in age from 13 to 20 months. Our journey to parenthood was not an easy one, and through the trials and disappointments, then the miracle of four children, we have learned just how amazing His grace is in our lives.

Family is foremost in my life. I love being a wife and mother, as well as being a daughter and sister. I offer the cliché that happens to be true, my husband is my best friend, my children are my greatest joy. Each with their own individual bends and quirks, they stretch me to be a better mother and help them as we, together, uncover and develop their God-given gifts and talents. From music to dance to writing to Lego building, it's my privilege and honor to help them grow and develop into the individuals God created them to be.

I have been a speaker since I uttered my first words and a writer since I could hold a pencil in my hand. In my pre-baby life, I wrote for a living as a reporter and feature writer. I also taught public speaking at the college level. While expecting our first child, I came home for good. Since then, I've continued to write and in the back of my mind, held to my childhood dream of publishing a book. That dream has come true in the Lord's time. I have more books in me; I just need more time to bring them to fruition.
